Dean B. Sharrett
January 20th, 1939 - January 16th, 2023

Dean B. Sharrett, of Ontario, CA, passed away at home peacefully at the age of 83 on January 16, 2023.
He was born in Bristol, VA to Albert and Margaret Sharrett on January 20, 1939. He was a veteran of the
United States Air Force and an electrician for 60 years. A proud member of the International
Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), he worked for General Electric and then for Southern
California Edison until his retirement in 1998.
He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Sharrett of Ontario, CA, three daughters, Gina Bustos of
Ontario, CA, Shelly LaMaster (Claire) of Claremont, CA, and Denise Strain (Jay) of Fontana, CA, two
sisters, Robbie Lyons (Nick) of Blowing Rock, NC, and Darlene Halstead (Bill) of Bristol, VA, six
grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. His youngest sister, Patricia Edwards (Richard), preceded
him in death.
