Charlotte Ann Willborn

February 21st, 1938 - March 16th, 2023

Charlotte Ann Willborn, age 85, of Rancho Cucamonga passed away,
surrounded by her children, on March 16, 2023.
Charlotte was born in Waco, Texas to parents Audie and Margaret Davidson.
She had one younger brother, Gilbert. She attended and graduated from
high school in Tulia, TX. Charlotte was a beauty and was quickly noticed by a
handsome football player, Norris Willborn. After three years of dating, the
high school sweethearts married.
Within a year, Charlotte became a mother, giving birth to their first son,
Ricky Lee. Four more baby chicks, including twins, were added to the nest,
making Norris and Charlotte parents of five perfect children (according to
the chicks!).
Adding to her role as mother, she was a pastor’s wife. She shared in Norris’
ministry for 50 years, as a teacher, counselor, encourager, comforter, and
beloved friend. Her faith in God was evident in the workplace as well. She
began as a bank teller in Durango, Colorado and later moved with the family
to California where she obtained her real estate license and eventually
became the manager of the agents at Century 21 Realtors in Upland. CA. She
excelled in her job, earning multiple awards and accolades.
Upon retiring from her work, she learned to paint at age 60, discovering her
passion and true creative gift.
By far the most fun she had was becoming “Mama” to nine grandchildren
and 21 great grandchildren! She was adored by these kids and a host of
friends who also called her Mama. She was the favorite, creating traditions,
making her famous chocolate chip brownies, and hosting gatherings. She
opened her home to anyone who wanted to be with her or needed her
special touch. She was the LIFE OF THE PARTY, and her laugh was infectious.
Her greatest love was Norris, who worshipped Charlotte. Their love story is
epic and lasted 63 years.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband and her son, Ricky Lee. She
is survived by her four children: Cary Willborn, Sherri Maxson, Lisa Wollam,
and Linda Bradford. She also leaves behind her cherished brother, Gilbert
Davidson, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and other family
and friends who filled her world.
Charlotte was known for her laughter, her sense of humor, her generosity,
her compassion, her encouragement, and her faith. Her sacrifices were
many and will be remembered by all who loved her . . . and everyone did!
Heaven has gained a bright light. Charlotte is now in the presence of Jesus.
Welcome Home!
