William George Matthews
May 8th, 1942 - March 8th, 2023

Bill was born in FonduLac WI, and eventually moved to Lomita CA in his teens.  He married Carroll Royalty Hart in 1963 and raised a beautiful family.
In 1980 they moved to Hemet CA where Bill truly embraced the country life, planting dozens of trees and an amazing vegetable garden.
Bill was passionate about sharing in the ministry of Jehovah’s Witnesses and loved to talk to all his neighbors about the Bibles promise of a brighter future.
Carroll proceeded him in death just shy of 50 years marriage. Also his sister Janet Washington of FondduLac, and step daughter Judy Hart Verdugo..
Bill is survived by his daughter Sandra Matthews Lansing, son in law Todd Lansing, Stepson Roger Hart, Lori Hart, son in law Ernie Verdugo of Hemet, and his youngest sister, Barb Seth of FonduLac WI..
Also 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandsons and many nieces and nephews. We all loved ‘Grandpa Bill’ very much and he will be sorely missed by his friends and family.
