Aurora Luna Gomez 

June 30th, 1929 - August 5th, 2023

Aurora Luna Gomez passed away August 5, 2023. Preceded in death by

her husband of 67 years, Frank C. Gomez, she will be deeply missed by

her son Frank and wife, Susan, of Berkeley, CA, grandchildren Kyle of

Phoenix, AZ, Shawna of Prescott, AZ and Nicholas (Nick) of Suisun City,

CA, five great grandchildren and her sisters Clara, Lucy and brother

Gilbert.

Glamorous and always well dressed, she enjoyed reading, loved jewelry,

and both she and her husband enjoyed dancing to her brother’s Gabriel

Luna (recently deceased) sometimes soothing, sometimes stomping

saxophone.

A lifelong resident of San Bernardino, she was an accomplished preschool

teacher for nearly 12 years.

The family is extremely grateful for the compassionate care and comfort

given Aurora by the nurses and staff at the Legacy Assisted Living and

Core Healthcare.

Services will be held September 15, at Inland Memorial Hermosa Gardens,

900 N. Meridian Ave., Colton, from 11 - 1pm. Burial at Riverside National

Cemetery at 1:30.
