It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of our son Alex Ochoa, on November 4, 2023 at the age of 38. He will be greatly missed by family and many friends. Alex came into this world feet first and ready to run. He had a special relationship with his grandma, and always said he was her favorite. When he would visit her, he would watch novellas and take naps with her if she called and said she was making a tortilla with butter, the minute she called and let him know, he and Linda jumped in the car and headed down to her house. He will always be remembered in our hearts for his zest for life, his laughter, his love of singing , his sensitive heart that he would cry at hallmark commercials and sappy rom-com movies. His devotion to the Dallas Cowboys, which if you knew they were losing you did NOT want to be anywhere near him. He was also known as the worst mail-person EVER! . He was known as the Mexican cowboy, he loved country music. He was an Upland High School Highlander Alumni #64 on the football field. If you knew Alex, music fed his soul, you could catch him cruising the streets of Upland in his K5 blazer with the American flag waving in the back. He loved to go to concerts and sporting events. He loved WWE, even though we told him it was fake he would never accept it. You could always find him with scratchers in his pocket and when he won, he was quick to say he was God's favorite. When he was at work for United Airlines, he could be heard saying out here doing God's work. He traveled the world with his parents, he loved to go to the drag races and fishing with his dad. He was a loving and caring uncle to his nieces and nephews, always had gifts for them, loved to tease and fight with them, he would show up out of the blue to their softball games. Whenever you were in Alex's present you knew you were in for a good time. His laughter was contagious. He will be forever remembered in our hearts. Alex said, "Don't feel sad for me, I lived my life like a Rock Star."
Alex is survived by his parents Andy and Roseann, as well as his brother Raymond and sister Linda, Nephews, Nieces, Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Ray and Angie Ochoa and Rachel Venegas as well as his brother Eddie Ochoa.
We will be having a Celebration of life on December 4th at 4pm at
1906 Inc., 1231 E. 16th St., Upland Ca 91784.
