 Clifford Olaf Benson, known as Cliff, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, friend, and skilled carpenter, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at the age of 91. Born on January 3, 1933, Cliff lived a rich and fulfilling life marked by love, adventure, and dedication to his craft.
Throughout his professional life, Cliff pursued his passion as a carpenter, mastering his trade with skill and precision. His workmanship left an indelible mark on the homes and buildings he helped construct, earning him admiration and respect from colleagues and clients alike.
 
Yet, Cliff's true treasure in life was his enduring companionship with his beloved wife, Mona Jean Benson. Together for over 65 years, they shared a bond strengthened by love, laughter, and countless adventures. Traveling to numerous countries, they explored the world hand in hand, creating cherished memories that would last a lifetime.
 
Cliff found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially in the company of his loyal canine companions. Their presence brought him comfort and companionship, enriching his days with their unwavering loyalty and affection.
 
As a devoted father, Cliff played an active role in his daughter's upbringing, instilling in her values of kindness, resilience, and a spirit of adventure. He accompanied her on Girl Scouting adventures, always offering his guidance and support every step of the way.
 
A pillar of strength and generosity, Cliff was known for his willingness to lend a helping hand to friends and neighbors in need. His kindness knew no bounds, and his presence brought solace and reassurance to those around him.
 
In addition to his love for carpentry and family, Cliff had a passion for adventure, particularly in the vast expanse of the desert. He found exhilaration and freedom in exploring the dunes with his dune buggies, embracing the thrill of the open terrain with boundless enthusiasm.
