Raymond Castillo Muñoz

July 5th, 1957 - June 24th, 2024

Raymond Castillo Muñoz died Monday, June 24th, 2024. He battled several illnesses over the last couple of years and we are grateful that when he passed he was safe and knew he was loved.

Ray was born July 5th, 1957 in Brownsville Texas where he spent his early childhood until moving to Redlands California.

Ray was born a natural comedian with a gift for charming anyone and everyone around him. He had a passion for watching movies and getting himself into trouble.  Ray was funny, fearless, and resilient. He could talk to just about anyone. When you were in his company it was easy to see why people liked him.

During the last couple of years his illnesses took an incredible toll on him, but in that we got to see him free and fighting every obstacle thrown his way.

Ray is survived by his five daughters: Denise (Muñoz) Soto, Adrianne (Muñoz) Rodriguez, Nicole (Muñoz) Perez, Natalie Muñoz , Corinna Muñoz, his only son, SFC David Muñoz  as well as his many lovely grandchildren and siblings: Ruben Muñoz, Yolanda Maldonado, Romero Muñoz and Henry Muñoz.

We are comforted knowing he is finally at peace and free of suffering joining his parents, sister, brothers, and so many loved ones on the other side.

His services will be

 Saturday 10am July 20, 2024 

at Hermosa Gardens Cemetery 

900 N Meridian Ave Colton CA 92324. 

This will be a viewing, followed by lunch at the Colton Community center.
