Jamar Alexander Thorpe
It is with great sorrow to announce the death of Jamar Alexander Thorpe. He died on August 26, 2024 in Los Angeles. He was 39 years old. He was a wonderfully charismatic man with a contagious sense of humor. His keen sense of artistry and knowledge of computers led him to the field of Graphic design and Los Angeles allowed him to showcase his varied interest and dynamic skill in that field. He designed the advertisements of a lot of the businesses in Hemet and Temecula that are still thriving today. His songs which he wrote and shared with all, stand as a testament to his many talents. He was deeply philosophical and very sensitive. He loved and insisted on a peaceful atmosphere. Every moment in his presence was precious. When he entered a room fun was to be had because his sense of humor was cerebral and contagious! He always left you wanting more. He was a blessing to have as a son, a compassionate father, an awesome brother and uncle. Jamar Alexander Thorpe, you will be missed tremendously! He is preceded in death by his father Jason Wiseman Thorpe and wife Jacqueline Rose O'day Thorpe. Two grandmothers; Georgianna Robinson and Audrey Thorpe, two grandfathers Linwood Ulysses Thorpe and Edward Frenchie Robinson, two great grandmothers; Minnie Thorpe and Gladys Russell. Survived by his mother Marilyn Peaches Willis, beloved son Brooklyn Alexander Thorpe, sister Jennifer Marie Thorpe, two uncles; Reginald Dennis Thorpe Sr., Stephen Benjamin Thorpe, Aunts; Francine Sledge, Gladys Sledge, Jacqueline
Robinson, Valerie Robinson. Nieces and nephews; Dallas Marie Andrews, Basil Cook, and Sadie Randolph Walker, stepfather Christopher Willis, stepsister Amber Willis, stepbrother William Waltower cousins; Chauncey Blair, Tracie Wilkerson, Jarrell Robinson Humphries, Carmen Thorpe, Brandon Thorpe, Regina Nsubuga, Reggie Thorpe Jr. and his companion Julia, who nursed, loved and remained by his side to the end and a hosts of other relatives and friends who will forever be privileged to have known him!
