Myron Henry Saulpaugh

December 31, 1945 - January 04, 2025

Myron Henry Saulpaugh of Upland, CA passed away at the age of 79 on 1/4/25 surrounded by his loving family.

Myron was born on 12/31/45 to Harold and Isabelle Saulpaugh in Schenectady, NY in a police car in front of the hospital in the middle of a snowstorm. The family later moved to Crestline, CA. Myron graduated from Rim of the World High School and later join the Army, where he served for four years.  He earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Cal Poly Pomona. 

He worked at the Ontario International Airport beginning in the 1970s with Continental Airlines.  He then worked for AirCal and American Airlines. He finally moved to airport operations and stayed there until he retired in 2016.  He loved working there so much that he stayed on after retiring to work movie details.

He was the president of the Friends of the Ontario Airport and the Baldy View ROP.  He loved helping the airport and giving back to the community.

Myron married Georgianne Klunk in 1972. They had three children, Eric, Alicia, and Katrina. He is survived by his wife, children, sons-in-law, Gregg Pruett and Gregg Prosser, daughter-in-law Shannon, three beautiful granddaughters, Raven, Amber, and Hailey, his two brothers Tom and Danny, and his two sisters Barbara and Cora.

Myron loved spending time with family and doing crossword puzzles.  He would often be seen in a Hawaiian shirt and loved talking with people.
