Rennee Grijalva
September 26, 1946 - July 20, 2025

Rennee Grijalva (née Orduño), age 78, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 20, 2025, in Ontario, California. She was a resident of Montclair, California for 48 years. Born on September 26, 1946, in Douglas, Arizona, Rennee was a proud graduate of Douglas High School, Class of 1965. She carried the values and spirit of her hometown with her throughout her life. As a newlywed, she relocated to California in February 1967. She was first a homemaker and later became an instructional aide for the Chino Unified School District. Over the course of 45 years, she touched countless lives at both the elementary and high school levels with her steady presence and commitment to supporting students and teachers alike. Rennee’s life was rooted in love for her family. She is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years, Enrique Grijalva; her daughter, Annette Hernandez; son-in-law, Manuel Hernandez; and grandsons Dominic and Jacob Grijalva. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Enrique O. Grijalva. Outside of work and family, Rennee found joy in simple pleasures that brought beauty and warmth into everyday life. She had a strong passion for sewing. She spent countless hours creating clothing, dolls, and even Halloween costumes for those she loved. She was also interested in gardening and cultivated a vibrant space that reflected her nurturing spirit. A lifelong fan of The Beatles and the Rolling Stones, their music often filled her home with melody and memories. Her aƯection for cats was well known among those close to her, as was the deep value she placed on friendship. A funeral service will be held at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, California on August 14, 2025. Rennee’s legacy lives on through the many lives she enriched with kindness and quiet strength. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Beth’s Furry Friends, or a charity of your choice, in memory of Rennee.
