Joe was the type person that people wanted to be around. He could make you feel good about yourself. I would start smiling any time I saw him; I knew he would be upbeat, joking around or have a good story to tell. It was the early seventies; rock concerts, cruising the drag, keggers at the "Troll Bridges", the park, Frisbees, etc. I saw him occasional over the years and talked over the phone. Good times and a good friend I will never forget. Ride on Joe

My awesome uncle joe...not sure where to begin so I will start with you will truly be missed and wish I could have spent a lil more time with you...I'm gonna miss all the jokes and inspiring words you shared with me, and when I say jokes I think of one in-particular joke which only a few of us will understand, we just ask that you don't ask the good lord if he wants to see your socks....we will soon meet again uncle until then you will be thought of often!!! Love you Uncle Joe!!
