Llauderes Israel, 89, died Tuesday, July 26, 2016 in his home under hospice
care in Loma Linda, following a brief illness. Born and raised in the
Philippines, he was a Bible Instructor/ mission school teacher and later on an
ordained minister of the Seventh-day Advenstist Church. He retired after
working for 33 years and came to the US in 1996 where he settled in Southern
California in 2002. Salvador enjoyed being with his family and his children
were truly his pride. He was a great fan of Manny Pacquiao. He also loved
singing, especially with his wife. Gardening was a hobby that he greatly took
pleasure in doing. He was faithful in volunteering for community service--it
was one of his greatest joys. He leaves his wife of 63 years, Lucy (Cena)
Israel, eight children—Lucilyn, Ezra, Lily, Sandra, Ewert, Salvador Jr, Laura
and Julie—and their spouses, 21 grandchildren & 19 great-grandkids. He is
also survived by his younger sister, Purita, and several nieces/nephews and other
relatives. A memorial service will be held on August 6, 2016 at 2:00 in the
afternoon and the funeral service will be held on August 7, 2016 at 8:00 in the
morning. Both services will be at the Inland Empire Filipino SDA Church, 400 E
State Street, Redlands, CA. Interment will then follow at the Hermosa Gardens
after the funeral service.
