Constantino Manelici

November 18, 1939 – September 15, 2016

Constantino Manelici, as a young child experienced WWII in Europe; he was destined to become a soldier. In the early 60's he enlisted in the U.S. Army. Upon completing his tour of duty, he attended Mt. San Antonio College and Cal Poly Pomona re-enlisting several times. Constantin served as a Radio Operator in Korea, 3 years combat duty in Vietnam, 5 years as a Food Inspector in Europe, and continued the same in Fort Erwin- California; coming home every single weekend. After leaving the U.S. Army, the National Guard in California became his calling, seldom telling us where he went. As a soldier, Constantino saw much and kept that knowledge to himself. Constantino liked to travel when not in school or the army; He visited New York, Texas, Canada, Mexico, Europe, and South/Central America. Retired E5. Lived many years a humble quiet life in poverty, then, just before his 78th birthday, God took him away from us to heal his wounds. We Love You Toni.
