Iris went to business college and had a job with the Rural
Electrification Administration. After World War II, Iris was introduced to U.S.
Army Air Force Technical Sergeant Kenneth Logan by Ken's cousin and Iris'
best friend Margaret Cameron. Iris moved to Sherman Oaks, Ca to live with
the Cameron family and coincidentally Ken was stationed in Riverside,
CA. Feb. 1, 1947 Iris married the piano player Kenneth
Milford Logan and settled in Colton, CA. They raised four children and
were active in the Methodist Church of Colton. Iris' devotion to
family, faith, education and music was lavished on her children's and
grandchildren's lives. She worked as a bookkeeper for the Colton Unified
School District . Her passions included gardening, reading,
crossword puzzles, quilting with the church and caring for her
grandchildren. Iris spent her last years living with her son Scott and
his wife Valerie where the family cherished her stories and smiles. She
died peacefully, surrounded by her family.
