Luis Carlos

April 1, 1932 - October 10, 2018

On October 10, 2018 our beloved Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and friend was reunited with the Lord and the love of his life Rita R. Carlos. Luis was born to Norberto and Petra Carlos on April 1, 1932 he was the 4th of 16 siblings. In 1949 he married his sweetheart Rita Ramirez, then in 1954 he left to the United States Army. During this time together they raised 3 beautiful children, Luis R. Carlos Jr., Virginia Carlos and Chelsy Cook. He then became a Deputy Sheriff for San Bernardino County and retired in 1974, but this was not the end of his employment adventures. Known to many as "The BIG man with the BIG heart", every moment with him was filled with laughter, funny comments and comical facial expressions. He will be deeply missed. Luis is survived by 4 siblings Anecito (Evelyn) Carlos, Norberto (Donna) Carlos, Patsy (Mario) Medina, Stella (Dave) O'Connor. His children Luis R. (Lorraine) Carlos Jr., Virginia (Alfred) Herrera Sr. And Chelsy Cook. Grandchildren Christina Herrera, Alfred L. (Clarissa) Herrera Jr, Sabrina (Andrew) Mejia, Angela Carlos, Rudy (Cassandra) Cardenas, Naomi Herrera, Sara (Brian) Stinnett, Tiffany (Nick) Gonzalez, Luis F. Carlos III and Luisa Carlos. Great Grandchildren Jasmin, Joseph, Shania, Priscilla LaShomb and Jesse Ortiz, Alfred A. III and Nevaeh Herrera, Andrew Jr., Abel and Aubry Mejia, Serina and Rubie Cardenas, Nadia Herrera, Noah Bailey, Luke and Aria Stinnett, Nikko and Cruz Gonzalez, Bobby, Shane and Benny Palmer. Great Great Grandchildren Raiden, Jayden, Anessa and Dahlia LaShomb and his puppy Duke.

Internment will be held at Riverside National Cemetery 22495 Van Buren Boulevard Riverside CA. on Thursday October 18,2018 at 10:15am followed by a celebration of life at HDC Church on 14545 Hook Blvd in Victorville CA. at 1:30pm
