James David Whitfield 

October 26,1968 - November 18, 2021

James David Whitfield, known as David or Jimmy David, was born on October 26th, 1968 and was

welcomed into the gates of heaven on November 18th, 2021 at the age of 53.

David will always be remembered as the life of the party and rooted many good laughs and memories

with his loved ones. His big heart, contagious laugh and his dancing will always be a memory that his

close family and friends will always cherish. He loved all Los Angeles sports teams, including Lakers, Dodgers, Kings and now Las Vegas Raiders. He sacrificed so much to do what he loved doing...truck

driving. Whether it was long hauling or local he loved all his Teamster 952 brothers and is known as “one of the good ones”. In his honor we will keep his memory alive by always working hard and living

life to the fullest.

David is survived by his wife, Christy Whitfield and his three daughters, Danielle, Regina and Samantha Whitfield, along with his step-children Janine and Nathaniel Hernandez. His mother and father, Linda and Bill Giles, including his sister Shay Raper and brother Donald Raper.
