Joshua Ryan Mihld

January 17, 1989 - October 6, 2023

The world became brighter on January 17, 1989, the day that Joshua “Josh” Ryan Mihld was born in Redlands, CA. Joshua peacefully passed away on October 6, 2023, with his mother, sister, and aunts by his side. Joshua was a loving partner, father of 6, son, brother, uncle, and friend.

Josh lived his life as a free spirit. He had the most caring and loving heart, always wore the biggest smile, never met a stranger, and watched out for the under dog. He had a story, or joke, to tell anyone who would listen. His greatest love was Calysta and their 6 children.

Joshua was preceeded in death by: great-grandparents, Dalbert L. Alexander, Jean M. Varner Alexander, Melva F. Mihld, and Ivar "Roy" L. Mihld; grandmother, Alice F. Wilson, grandfather, John E. Wilson; and grandfather, Ronald I. Mihld.

Joshua is survived by his 6 beautiful children: Elijah, Julieann, Calysta, Olivia, Joshua, and Dawson. He is also survived by the love of his life, partner, and mother of his children, Calysta S. Vargas; grandmother, Linda L. Mihld; mother, Nicole R. Mihld; father, Ryan L. Mihld; sister, Breanna N. Akin; brother-in-law, Jonathon F. Akin; and 3 nephews, Braden, Grayson and Payton; as well as several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Though we are grieving the loss of Joshua, we do take comfort knowing we will see him again one day through the promise of God.
