David was born in Alhambra, CA. on September 27th, 1961 to Howard and Patricia Barrett. Shortly after his birth, their family moved to Palm Desert, CA. where he lived his entire childhood. He was on the worship team at church and was a leader in the church for the majority of his adult life. He was very social, so if you could drag him out of the church, you could find him making everyone laugh at the local store. He loved to make everyone smile.
